Oversize/Overweight Permit Refund Request Form

MnDOT will only consider a refund of fees paid for an annual or single trip permit if the customer submits the request:

Within fifteen days of permit issuance, and
Prior to the start date of the permit

MnDOT will review and respond to your request within 30 days of receiving your request.

Refunds will not be granted under the following circumstances:

Annual permit with logged trip(s)
Customer submitted multiple (duplicate) applications
Refund is requested on a revised permit
Load is canceled
Dimensions or weights changed
Permit travel date has expired
Multiple charges for the same permit
